TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MICHIGAN (TEEM)

     As part of its collaborative vision, the TEEM group is focusing on the following IT-enabled projects in support of facilitating the success of Michigan entrepreneurs:

• Education and training - launch a "best in class" interactive, web-based, entrepreneurship curriculum for potential and practicing entrepreneurs

• Entrepreneurial network facilitation - employ information technology to support existing entrepreneurial networks and encourage the development of new formal and informal networks (web-based matchmaking tools, discussion forums, blogs, webinars, etc.)

• Resource access - develop a comprehensive, interactive web portal of resources for potential and practicing Michigan entrepreneurs.  Rather than duplicating the current Michigan entrepreneurship web portals, the CyberMichigan portal will focus on hosting and syndicating co-developed educational materials and entrepreneurship support tools
