* Warren: WWPS bond project continues over summer When Briarwood Elementary School students return to class Aug. 25, they are sure to notice the changes that occurred over summer. Crews have worked over the summer months to renovate classrooms as part of a $47 million bond issue passed by Warren Woods Tower Public Schools taxpayers in September 2004. The bond projects are geared to support the curriculum and improve the learning environment. Skanska USA Building Inc., based in Southfield, is the construction company hired for the projects. AUG 3, 2005 * Shelby Township: Day care center offers Web cam for parents June DeBoni said it’s reassuring to be able to take a couple of minutes out of her working day to check on her 3-year-old son Jack who spends the day at a local child care facility. And DeBoni doesn’t even have to leave her desk. The Shelby Township mom recently began sending her son to Shelby University, a newly opened child care provider, which features a Web cam for parents to check in on their kids at any time.
