Nancy Weatherford serves as Director of CyberMichigan’s
entrepreneurship initiatives. Prior
to her position with CyberMichigan she served as a member of the William
Davidson Institute’s leadership team.
The William Davidson Institute (WDI) is an international, emerging
markets business and policy think tank at the University of Michigan
Business School in Ann Arbor. During
her tenure at WDI, she developed and managed international business
consulting projects with multinational corporations and indigenous firms
as well as non-profit organizations.
Many of these consulting projects focused on small- and medium-
enterprise development – both business formation and economic impact –
in developing countries. In
addition to managing WDI’s international consulting engagements, she
served as the Institute’s corporate and practitioner outreach liaison,
establishing a portfolio of corporate, non-profit and educational partners
and engaging them in the Institute’s applied business research
initiatives. Prior to joining
the William Davidson Institute, Ms. Weatherford served as Associate
Director of MBA Admissions for the University of Texas at Austin’s
McCombs School of Business.
Nancy brings to CyberMichigan over fifteen years experience
in program development and management, consulting and business outreach.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at
Austin and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of
Michigan.
