Kevin Kelly is the Executive Director for the Michigan State Medical
Society (MSMS). Since 1979, he has held various positions with MSMS including: Managing
Director; Manager - Department of Government Relations and Membership Development; and Legislative Coordinator.
Previously, he was the Health Facility Project Review Director for Michigan
Mid-South Health System Agency.
Mr. Kelly has a masters degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University and
a bachelors degree in Economics from Michigan State University.
He has numerous professional affiliations, among them: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
Foundation Grants Advisory Board; Michigan Health Policy Forum Board of Directors; Michigan Health and Safety Coalition;
Michigan Public Health Association; Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Management; Michigan Peer Review Organization Hospital
Quality Initiative Advisory Committee; and PhRMA State Medical Society Advisory Committee.
